This was my travel down finding a reliable way to duplicate parameter sets over 100 functions and using default values & aliases along the way. If you don’t want the details, you can jump down to the TL;DR script for details.
Updated a module I’ve been tinkering around with. The module’s primary purpose is store and retrieve secrets (passwords) in an Azure Key Vault and corresponding metadata (like URLs, usernames, etc): TooManySecrets (yes, like Sneakers)
As I’ve been working on a recent Module package, I’ve been separating out the module into nested module files. The main purpose was to keep the functions and commandlets organized based on their purpose or goals. Eventually, I’d like to separate them out a bit more into interdependent, child modules similar to the Az module with Azure.
Well its apparently been too long since I tried doing this blogging thing, so I’m looking to get it restarted. I’ll be mostly posting about technology topics like Azure, PowerShell, Windows, Tablets, maybe even some drones or automation. I try to avoid it, but I can’t deny that there may be the occasional science post, maybe geek entertainment or gadget, and possibly even a libertarian posts, but those should be kept to a minimum.
